I can proudly say I was a small business account holder with this bank for the last 6 years. Truly an honor the people are amazing. The security is amazing. Unforeseen circumstances caused me to have to switch banks, but as soon as possible I will be moving back over to these folks

This is specific to Williston,ND. They only have two branches that close at 6pm in a town full of workers. Their customer service is lacking it’s almost as though you should be thanking them. If you are working or planning to be in western North Dakota. I would advise you to do all your banking before coming if you are with Gate City. One bank opens at 8am the other at 10am yet both close at 6pm. This is not at customers convenience but it’s more catered to the lackadaisical, Complacent customer support if you could call it that…… I would have to place the blame on management at this point Gate City need to reevaluate who they have in supervisory positions remove them and start over or promote others into these positions…. I know there will be a generic copy and paste response to this which tells me management is of not more complacent than the tellers

It was amazing, easy and fast. Opening an account with them got me a blanket and 3 amazing, freshly baked cookies. Oh, and the awesome benefits, including no service charge at ATMs and no minimum balance fee ?

Would NOT recommend banking or at least for sure getting a mortgage through Gate City. Every customer we have had that banks Gate City has had an issue getting their insurance checks released, payed out and sometimes they have not been able to find their checks. We have had approximately 9 issues to date with them requiring something different each time to release money. We have provided proof beyond reasonable doubt that work has been completed and each time they request a new document from the previous instance. It’s a disaster to deal with after having to deal with the insurance companys to begin with. For potential homebuyers looking for a mortgage, try First International Bank & Trust. I really enjoyed this bank until this morning I even kept my account out of state with them. I now i'm going to find a new bank I called this morning. The bank teller would not give me her name and hung up the phone on me and would not help me very unprofessional. When I tell you I really enjoyed this bank I mean it I still don't know who was so rude and disrespectful to me. I wish I could leave her name but she hung up on me. That hurts when people don't want to help you when it would be so easy for them to do so but because they are in a bad mood everyone. Has to pay.

I have been banking with them since 2017. I’ve used Wells Fargo, Chase, B Of A, and all the other large banks. Gate City is by far the most sincere helpful company I’ve trusted my money with. I’m living back in California now and always brag to everyone out here about them. They always go above and beyond to have my back.

I love this bank. It is a runner up with my credit union. I have never had a problem with this bank. They explain every thing to you in a way you can understand. good rates on loans, Friendly staff even though high turn over. If I ever have a problem they are right their to help me or walk me through the problem. I would recommend this bank to anyone. I have kept them even though I am no longer in the sate.

IF I COULD POST NEGATIVE STAR REVIEWS I WOULD. This specific branch and location cashes fake fraudulent checks, with the wrong address for the owner of the check and the name spelled wrong. These were very clearly fraudulent checks. I HAVE A FAMILY MEMBER OUT 120,000$ because this bank ALLOWED FAKE CHECKS TO BE CASHED.
