Kirstie is absolutely amazing! I have religiously went to her the last 5 years and couldn’t imagine ever going to another lash artist! Her retention and technique are unmatched by other lash artists in Knoxville. She’s also extremely flexible and quick in scheduling. Every time I’ve ever been in her chair, she has made me feel so comfortable and listened to what I want my lashes to look like and made it happen. 10/10 every time with her.

Stay away! The worst Botox experience I’ve ever had. I walked in and there were 5 girls just sitting around talking about women superhero’s for 20 minutes. Got put back into a room 30 minutes later and the injector Julie…

1. Didn’t introduce herself
2. Didn’t cleanse the area before injecting initially
3. Used an EXPO MARKER to mark my face yall
4. Didn’t tell me how many units she was putting where. When I asked it didn’t even add up to 20.

This was the most unprofessional, unclean, waste of time and money I’ve ever spent. I was so uncomfortable. I should have left after being marked with a dry erase marker.

To the reply: she missed professionalism, explanation, and respect. Botox is not a sterile procedure and those are NOT sterile gloves. Clearly the person responding has no idea what they’re talking about. The alcohol pads are out on the table but not used first poke like she “forgot”.

There’s multiple bad reviews about Julie so maybe it’s just her.

I debated posting this but if I can help anyone else from experiencing what I did, then it’s worth it. On Tuesday, I was brought into a room by a lady at the front desk who told me to sit in the ‘medical chair’ (my terminology, not hers). So I did. Julie walks in, doesn’t even introduce herself and sits about 8-10 feet away from me behind her desk. I could tell she was irritated the second she walked into the room. I told her I could only do 20 units and maybe a little more, and she starts marking up a paper. Mind you, she hasn’t even approached me yet. She had been on hold for an hour with the airlines (she was leaving for Spring Break the next day) and the airlines finally answered her. She leaves the room to speak with them about early check in issues. I handled it with grace even though I was starting to feel like a burden/annoyance to her. She speaks to the airlines and then they put her on hold again and she walks up to me (finally) and tells me to make a mean face. She did not sterilize my forehead or talk to me about why she was injecting the places she was injecting. She did mention when she was 8 or more feet away from me that 20 units normally just go in between the brows. 3 injections total that took under 45 seconds with no explanation or really looking at my forehead. When I got 32 units last year at Stellar Aesthetics, they took their time and really looked at my forehead and explained why they were injecting where they were. Julie knew I had bought 20 units via Groupon (meaning she was making way less than she’d prefer BUT yet she opts for her business to do the Groupon) so I believe that added to her irritation with me along with the airlines issue. At this point, I’m in shock at the rudeness and unprofessionalism but I just wanted out of there. She’s back on the phone again with the airlines and then just motions for me to follow her to the front desk. As a single mom who spends every holiday ALONE with her 16 year old, life can be sad sometimes and I had been looking forward to this for weeks. I had PTO to use and wanted to feel better about myself. She literally ruined my mood/week. I have never been treated that way before. I know Julie will respond to this in a condescending and even perhaps lying matter, but all I ask is that she secretly reflects and remembers how she treated me, dismissed me and rushed me out of there. The ladies at the front desk saw-they know. And I don’t believe for one second that I received 30 units (20 purchased via Groupon, 5 paid extra and then another 5 she said she threw in to ‘hook me up). And even if she did ‘hook me up’, which I know is not true, I would never return. I honestly question if I even got the 20 units from the Groupon. How you make people feel matters. And I feel badly for her employees. They were sweet and tried to apologize for her behavior by saying ‘she’s been on hold with the airlines for an hour’, etc. If she’s going to treat a stranger like me who is paying money like that, then how does she treat her employees when she’s in a bad mood?

Julie has done my lips multiple times and always does an amazing job. The facility is clean and inviting. I have also gotten dermaplanes and a BioRePeel and absolutely love my results.

Great place! I come in for the mounjaro weight loss shots and they have been so helpful. I’ve noticed amazing results with little to no side effects. They explain everything really well to you and are helpful with administering the shots. Definitely recommend!

I was very on the fence about getting treatments done, but Peyton answered all of my questions & explained everything perfectly! She walked me through everything she was doing & made the experience super enjoyable. She made recommendations but never made me feel guilty about purchasing or not purchasing anything. I can’t say enough good things about A Better You. I’ve been going since June to get Mounjaro shots (down 60 lbs), and I’ve recently began microneedling procedures with Jordan. I was skeptical at first, but I started noticing improvements almost immediately. They’re professional but still laid back enough where you feel comfortable and at ease. Julie’s a great injector, and I’m looking forward to getting another round of Botox. Love these ladies and I’m grateful to have found them.
