While I love ACNB it's the best bank I've ever dealt with I'm disappointed and dissatisfied with the way my benefits become available in my account.
My benefits are deposited on the 3rd day of every month which technically the date starts at midnight but from midnight of the deposit date until the time the bank physically opens my benefits read as "Transaction Pending" and doesn't actually post as available until the bank opens it's doors in the morning.
I shouldn't have to wait until the bank physically opens to have access to my funds it defeats the purpose of having a bank card as waiting for the bank to open to have access to my funds I might as well just go into the bank and make a cash withdrawal at the teller's window.
I inquired into this at the bank and the bank manager and teller state it's not done at their location it's at the corporate level that makes funds available in the accounts.
I've only had this issue at ACNB banks I've used in the past my benefits were available at midnight on the date of the deposit.
I'd hate to have to take my business to another banking institution just so I have access to my benefit funds at midnight on the 3rd day of the month like I used to before opening an account with ACNB .
