This place is a joke and does bad business!!!! The staff are very shady they tell you one thing about pricing and finance, than turn around say something else. Not only did they upcharge on the vehicle that we were interested in and that they wrote the price down but they stole the deposit that we put down saying that they wouldn't give it back unless we decide to get another vehicle!!!! We drove an Hour and 40 mins to do business with them and this is how we are treated. Most of the cars on the lot have damage on or car smell like they been smoked in. The lot was full of slick ice where people could fall and get hurt.

I received communication from Affordable Auto Credit shortly after my complaint was entered. Judging from our previous exchanges I had no reason to think that he might ultimately not be any different than any used car dealer, but I was surprised how willing he was to rectify my concern. I really did think that ultimately, I had been taken for my money, but I was wrong. Affordable Auto Credit swapped out the defective motor with one that was in far better condition to the one previous. Also, in an effort to make the transition smooth for me, they worked it out where I had a rental car I could use until the work was completed some days later. I retract my complaint made previously and feel more than confident with doing business with affordable Auto Credit in the very near future.

Bought an excellent condition car, things started going wrong quickly. Called the dealer, was called crazy, wheel fell off the car when my minor was driving on the highway. Thanks AAC! We so appreciate the $8k car that was drivable for 6 months! So good!

I am now on my 2nd car from affordable auto my 1st being a 2012 Ford focus which I owned for alittle over 2 years with 0 issues ever from the car. I traded that car in for a newer vehicle(2017 altima) which was totaled in a accident back in March of 2023..and went without a vehicle till last week when I returned to affordable to get a vehicle. I got a 2012 sonata hybrid ...had 2 almost 3 weeks when I started having overheating issues...they tell u one thing n don't follow thru ..I sunk almost as much as I paid for the car in repairs for the 11 months I had the car till the head blew n car caught fire on me..they harass you n leave ignorant messages via text n voicemail..I will never buy another car from them EVER!!

Went in January snowstorm to get my son a car. Found a relatively decent one that drove well. Paid $8k for it in “excellent condition” and also bought an additional year power train warranty. After we got it home, the VSA bombed out and the AC compressor only works for about 10 minutes. Called the dealer and let them know. Texted several times to get a spot to come in and have it looked at. Didn’t hear back but kept calling for my salesperson periodically. He was out on leave. So fast forward 3 months and we all got back in touch with each other. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to ask for the car to be reasonably in good to excellent condition since that was the way it was sold. Instead of talking business to me, they attacked me from a personal standpoint - I should have called someone else, I should be more aware of my salespersons medical history, I should have…

Anyway, none of these things had anything to do with the fact that I was sold a less than excellent condition car and expected it to be reasonably repaired to those conditions - let me explain - VSA errors can be caused by replacing the clutch, which they did before we purchased, AC’s should work upon purchase or that should be communicated. I asked for repairs to the AC and VSA up to $250 and I would cover beyond that.

Even still, this conversation became so personal to them that I became “crazy” according to the owner. Tony (owner) actually called me and asked me why I was acting, “like a crazy woman?” This was repeated several times as I tried to make logical conversation - repair the car up to x amt as per the contract under which it was purchased. That’s not difficult and certainly not any reason to be so extremely misogynistic. He also told me if I didn’t remove my reviews of his dealership, he refused to repair.

In light of these circumstances; being called crazy, the sheer unprofessionalism exhibited when I called, the name calling and somewhat transparent abusive type communication bullying tactics to avoid responsibility, the threats to not repair unless he could silence my experience, I went ahead and called the BBB. I was told that I could have repairs and send my receipts. I do not have to take it back there, which is fantastic as they are untrustworthy.
