I give Kenai Alyeska tire 0NE star!
I went to go get my accessible van winter tires changed to summer. We had to wait for hours, and then they finally took my van and five minutes later they came out to the waiting area and said they would not change my tires because they were too worn. They wanted me to buy brand new tires! I took it to a mechanic and he told me the tires were NOT too worn! They were hoping to swindle me into new tires! They do not have an accessible ramp into the building which is illegal and the took me through the garage which is dangerous. I WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS RUDE BUSINESS!!

Usually I don’t really do reviews but due to some of the negative reviews I felt it would be worth it.

I was a bit nervous with the negative reviews but I go through Palmer alyeska all the time and with moving to Kenai I would rather stick to what I know and I always have been very happy with my experience with alyeska.

I also reminded myself not everyone can be honest customers (working in retail you learn this), and if they did have bad experiences these reviews are not recent, time can change things

So I went in with a positive mindset and I was not disappointed

Kenai alyeska tire repair was VERY NICE, when I couldn’t remember the type of tires I would need for new studded winter tires (I have the worst memory ever) the person behind the counter walked with me to make sure the right tires were purchased and put on.

I was able to give him the type of car with year and license plate, but he was happy to walk and look just in case.

He wasn’t rude over me not knowing and was very nice. He didn’t talk down to me and honestly just a really nice person!
Very polite, if I could give more than 5 stars I would. I’m socially awkward so this is a big deal for me if people are kind to me.

The wait wasn’t long either staying in the lobby even though I came a little after 1 pm, I got out around 2pm

I even apologized for the fact my stick shift was a beater and interesting when backing up, (my main vehicle needs heat so I have the reliable beater with a heater this winter 🤣)

Not only was he very nice, he didn’t judge me and said they get all types of vehicles it’s okay.

I highly recommend them. They are very nice people and also very clean too!

Also he wasn’t just nice to me. In the waiting lobby I witnessed other customers both men and woman who were treated politely

The Kenai location has terrific staff. They installed Apex Rapid Precision Valves on my Jeep Gladiator Mojave and a TPMS in the spare tire. Perfect and professional results.

Went to get an oil change. Found out at checkout that they replaced the air filter and charged me for it. No one consulted me on this service/charge before it was done. Extra 32.99 to my bill. When I expressed my concern, I was told they could "just switch it back." Well it's already done so might as well keep it. Again, no one consulted me on the service before it was done. There's no reason you perform a service and charge a customer before consulting them. I will make sure to tell everyone I know not to use their services.

Wholesomely recommend! They got me in on a Saturday in short notice, and went above and beyond to make sure my vehicle was serviced how I wanted. 11/10 recommend. They also did it far cheaper than another company that not only quoted me more, but scheduled me a week out.

Bought tires that have a warranty but had to pay shipping of almost the cost of the “warrantied” tire because they couldn’t order it, said they couldn’t cover the shipping cost. What’s the point of having a tire warranty if you have to pay to have one shipped … for a tire they say they carry? Should have just bought online for half the price and gone somewhere else to have them mounted, would have saved over $600 for a set of four tires that way and got the same service.

Went in for an oil change on a saturday around 2:30 pm but was told that it would have to be next week cause they were swamped and the dude seemed like he was in a rush and wanted me to leave as soon as possible so I came back on a monday around 3:30 and was able to get my oil change done then.

The second time the person was very nice and didn't try to rush anything in fact did a good job with the oil change and replenish the fluids just try to avoid this place on a saturday.

Requested same-day service for a minor problem and Alyeska was able to accommodate no problem. Work was done fairly quickly and the charge was reasonable.
