Nos alojamos una noche en este hotel previo a la visita a Death Valley.Muy cómodo porque dejas el coche justo en la entrada. Habitación muy amplia, con 2 habitaciónes independientes, camas grandes y cómodas, las instalaciones son bastante antiguas. Baño adecuado, aunque la ducha es prefabricada y algo estrecha. Aunque dispone de cocina amplia y completa con una gran nevera y mesa para comer, la limpieza en esta parte de la habitación deja mucho que desear: muebles muy descuidados, horno lleno de grasa, tostadora oxidada e inoperativa. Otra pega, el horario de la recepción bastante justo, nosotros no vimos a nadie ni a nuestra llegada ni a la salida, tuvimos un problema con la wifi y no había nadie a quién preguntar. Las llaves las dejan en un buzón que está justo a la entrada de la recepción. Aceptable calidad-precio para lo que suele ser habitual en la zona.

After normally staying at a different hotel, a positive review of the Bishop Village Motel was seen! So, it was given a try.

Adrianna Mullin gave extra quality customer quality to my concerns when making the reservations. She gave me a non pet room as on occasions very discomforting allergy symptoms have been experienced with dog hairs at other establishments. She also answered questions about parking.

The was a trip back to the 50's (as desired)! It was clean and everything fully functional. As one can see from the pictures, the neighbors are pretty quiet!

The only drawbacks were the pool was ice cold, even though it was in the 80's that day and there was no breakfast. You can not sit down for breakfast at the nearby McDonald's until 0700! The Denny's (.6 miles away) opened at 0500. Maria B, a former employee of the Bishop Village Motel, gave excellent service to all the morning customers!

This motel is a hidden gem in Bishop, located a block off the main drag so it's quieter than the places on 395. It has a mid-century vibe, including pink tile in the shower and wood paneling on the walls. The proprietor was great and although we didn't have time to try out the pool it looked nice. We liked the authentic period kitchenette too.

Very quaint motel and reasonably priced. The location was perfect! Away from the main road so it was peaceful but still close to walk to everything (most things were within half a mile walk).||The office manager is very friendly and helpful. Loved that you get your own entrance to your room and parking space. Pool looked very clean but didn’t not swim because the water was a lil cool for us.||The room, #3, was a deluxe family room. Nice to have a separate bedroom. Bathroom was nice too. ||The only thing I would suggest is to change the carpet. The shaggy carpet seemed old and smelled a bit. Going non-carpet (like laminate) or short carpet would be easier to clean and wouldn’t hold in the smell or dirt.

This is a nicely kept older property. Cute comfortable room with a full kitchen. Comfortable bed. Quiet neighborhood. Very clean. Good price for what you get. Its nice to park your car right outside your door.. If you don't like quirky, older properties this wouldn't be for you because its nothing like a chain hotel. The only (minor) drawbacks I encountered were a very faint odor in the kitchen and the ac was slow to cool. But these kinds of quirks are to be expected in an older property such as this. I recommend this motel.

Some rooms are a bit dated, but they are clean! I’ve stayed here multiple times over the years, I love dealing with the same people every time. Adriana has stellar customer service and as I am in customer service myself…I REALLY appreciate how she goes out of her way. Despite there being newer places in town to stay, we like the fact that we can park directly in front of our room and it is located near the center of town but off 395 so nice and quiet. The Bishop Village Motel is always our home away from home.
