If I could give zero stars, I would. BrooklynFi is absolutely awful and the staff is not knowledgeable whatsoever. My father passed and I received an inheritance - they had no idea what to do with it. I paid them $6k annually plus a percent of my “returns” and I had to seek counsel elsewhere to figure out what type of account I needed to accept the inheritance. When I brought the correct information back to them, they just said, “oh that’s right”. They also advised me to get a lease on my car instead of buying, which in general is not financially as sound. Last, they advised I liquidate my equity, which incurred a ton of taxes, instead of just keeping it in my accounts. Horrible advice across the board. Lost a ton of money with them and received zero useful financial guidance. Do not recommend.
