Made a deposit into a new CD and had some additional funds was going to put into my savings. My teller/customer service representative was Samantha. She brought to my attention that Canvas has a money market account that pays interest rather than sticking it in my savings account.
I was not aware of that Option. Samantha was extremely knowledgeable about both Products. She handled the transaction with ease, very friendly & courteous. I highly recommend Canvas Credit Union. They really do watch out for your dollars. Thank you, Samantha!

The sketchiest place ever. I have been paying a car loan off for 5 years only to later find out that there is a savings account open under my co-signers name with $1100 in it. She had no idea the account existed and neither did I and on top of it, the people we talked to (my co-signer talked to because I wasn’t able to talk to them about MY money and MY loan) weren’t able to tell us where the money came from. And since I wasn’t putting money in this random account and my co signer wasn’t either then I really think it’s the extra money I put in every month to go towards the loan. For some reason got put into a mystery account that no one wanted! I COULD’VE PAID THIS LOAN OFF A YEAR AGO IF THAT MONEY WENT INTO THE LOAN. On top of it, every single time you call, you will be on hold for 30 minutes and you’ll have to call multiple times because you’ll get different information every time. My grandma has been a successful business owner for over 50 years and she said that talking to them was the weirdest interaction she’s ever had with a bank. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM IF YOU DONT WANT TO STRUGGLE EVERY STEP OF THE WAY.

I’ve been with this credit union for over 15 years and I have never had any issues or problems whatsoever. I would like to thank each and every past and present employee that is employed for their help in every time I’ve called or come in with an issue. They have always been very respectful and helpful and patient and have always got the answers to my questions in a timely fashion.

Staff is always friendly and helpful when you visit the branch in-person, but the fact you can't call the local branch direct for help and have to go through some random person in Denver is ridiculous. Trying to check status of a loan and was told there are no phone numbers to any of the branches and the lady at the 303 number said the loan officer doesn't have a phone number only an email. Just seems crazy to me...

I made an appointment, brought my I d. And two letters showing an address change and yet that's not good enough to open an account. The clerk said they " like a letter tied to the house" what does that even mean? I'm sure illegals and homeless don't have to jump thru this kind of scrutiny for a 5 dollar checking account. I won't be back.

TERRIBLE BANK, they took over the bank I had been with for 15+ years. I called customer service (which is no longer local) and come to find out after paying for new checks (design I wanted), I was given the wrong acct #. So I called again and they ordered me their ugly checks for free. FF a month later the check’s finally came and not only is my husbands name not there but they also have my maiden name and I’ve been married 10+ years!!! I’m not calling again and waiting another month for checks that might (if I’m lucky) be correct. Sad but time to take my business elsewhere!!

Wouldn't recommend banking with canvas. They are constantly changing their mobile banking. Went in to get a loan and the loan officer did not even get the loan amount correct or the payment schedule corect. I was with Western Rockies Federal Credit Union for over 25 years loved the customer service even as a kid and always enjoyed going there. Id give Canvas -4 stars if I could. Dont waste your time with them.
