After several smooth loans with Bernie, I found Adam impossible to work with. He was unprepared and rude. He did me a favor because I was able to find a different lender with better rates. I will no longer be doing business with Cardinal Financial.

Let me start by saying my knowledge of the refinance process was slim at best when I began the process and I that I have only been through the refinance services from Cardinal Financial.

The reps I worked with were great. Their knowledge and understanding of the process seemed spot on. The communication was great and the agreed upon timelines, for the most part, were met. I thought the online process and customer portal were great too. I could access anything I needed during the process and the digital signature and document process made things much simpler than having to do them at an office with paper.

The closing process went smoothly and it was nice to finish everything right in my own home. No office visits at all.

Zach Sanders gave terrible customer service & was very unprofessional. When I first spoke with him he was not friendly at all & only seemed interested in the facts. At the time I did not think we could afford the payments for the rate he quoted. We decided to shop around & compare & found a very kind person at another company who took an interest in our situation, asked a few more questions and showed us how we could afford great rates & save even more money. Five days after having contact with Zach he followed up with me. When I told him we decided to go through another company he had a temper tantrum via text! He started arguing that his rates were better & said things like "good luck... With a higher APR". He told me he hoped the new company gave as quick a response as he did & I laughed! It was five days later, but he made excuses. He was very intent on arguing with me and letting me know that his rates were better. When I told him it was the most immature & unprofessional exchange I had ever had with a mortgage company, he called ME immature. He pasted a 5-star reading he had received last week into the text thread as if that would prove he was mature & professional, but of course it revealed the opposite. He finally agreed that we weren't a good fit - which is what I had initially told him. Not sure why he felt need to throw a fit, argue with a potential customer & react so poorly. All he had to do was say "Thank you for letting me know, I hope you'll consider us in the future." Now, that will never happen. I hope Zach's supervisors have access to his text threads & I hope no one else has an experience like this. It pays to shop around!!!!

This was my first home flip and Bernie and Adam made this a very smooth pleasant experience. Straightforward and easy to obtain financing. Closing was painless and they expedited the process to wrap this up. Judy is very sweet as well and made sure I was aware I had money coming back to me. Will definitely be using them for the next one. If you are looking for a hard money lender check them out!

Would give NO STARS if possible! This is the ABSOLUTE WORST mortgage company! Rates are cheap for a reason people. I can't tell you all the wasted hours waiting for people, the complete incompetence of the staff is mind blowing! They adjusted our closing date 3 different times WITHOUT INFORMING US! I had to learn of new times and days from the notary, after adjusting my schedule for them. I've been on hold for an hour right now, trying to pay my mortgage. I was then hung up on by Raquel when I asked to speak to her supervisor. I've been hung up on, avoided by my mortgage broker, Justin Fry. From start to finish complete and total lack of regard for their clients time and resources. If you are looking for the worlds worst mortgage company to abuse you, you have found it. STAY AWAY, pay a little more for service, it will be worth it! Sun West will be getting my business back as soon as I sell my home and buy a new one.

I worked with Jessica Gibson, and the entire experience was great. I am on the road a lot, so having someone who was so responsive via text (no matter what time of day) was really great. Not only was it the least stressful experience I had getting a mortgage, I got an extremely low interest rate, 90 day rate lock (new build home), and paid almost $10,000 less cash to close than if I went with the builder's mortgage company even with their $5,000 incentive. I type this from my new home and couldn't be happier. Give her a call!

I love working with Cardinal Financial, they have provided funding for multiple investment properties we have purchased. The process is always very fast and simple, we have never had to have an appraisal and we have never had a problem or delay at closing.
