I have had nothing but issues and white lies with this bank.

I tried opening a business bank account, which I was told I could do online, but when I tried I was told I had to come into the physical location. The representative had to rewrite our agreements multiple times because there was wrong information on the accounts (Even when they were "finished" there were many errors on the account that they claimed "Were fine").

Afterwards, they claimed they would ship out our cards, and our referral rewards would be deposited, but they never were. I had to physically go to the location and get A card (They wouldn't print all we needed). This card has errors on it, even though they had to reprint it twice.

The referral rewards had hidden strings attached that was not disclosed when we were creating our account.

The online chat feature is miserable as they do NOT provide quality or professional service.

The only decent part of this bank is a $0 account closing fee. What a mistake...

My review is specifically how they treat people with medium or low credit, or no credit history at all and not about customer service or the online or phone systems. Customer service is always polite and attempts to help and the phone and online systems are easy enough to use.

I have been a Sooper customer for 21 years and each time I've come to this bank for financial help with establishing or working on improving credit they've politely denied me help. They claim to be community focused and eager to help people, but they don't actually do that.

If you are looking for a credit union to bank at pick a different one because these people won't help you.

Ever since sooper merged with Climb things have gone down hill, I’m currently very unhappy, they switched our accounts to a higher percentage savings account and switched our checking account and unbeknownst to me your bills can no longer come out of your savings, so our bills were automatically pulled from our checking account and overdrew our account and now their overdraft fee went from $5 up to $30 so I was $112 in the negative over one bill oh and now you can only make 2 transfers a month, whereas before I believe we got 5 a month, very unhappy and may even look for another credit union after being with this company for 25 years.

I left any one is hesitant or afraid of getting a HELOC loan, look no further than Brandon at Sooper Credit Union. He is a true professional, dedicated and caring!! He took his time with me, explained everything multiple times in different ways to make sure I understood exactly what I was going to get into when inquiring about a HELOC loan. I’ve never met anyone more dedicated and passionate about their job. I’m passionate about helping people succeed in life and see good things happen to people. His guidance in securing a loan allowed me to paid off my debt, which made my credit skyrocketed. Brandon is a wonderful loan officer I highly recommended!!!

If your family member has a loan with them and passes away, they're going to continue to harass you about it even though you aren't responsible for the debt in any way. It's always fun continuing to get the letters addressed to the dead loved one. And if you call them about it they just ignore you.

I went in to look into a debt consolidation loan, I cannot even express how helpful, above and beyond, and sympathetic that Monique was to me and my situation!! I went to 4 banks with ZERO help and hits to my credit score with no good outcome!! They told her no once and she kept going back and here I am with an INCREDIBLE REVIEW to pass on!!!
