I spoke with a rep named Sokri who informed me the union did want a relationship with me, & further documentation was needed to open one up. Sokri is a legitimate rep of the union. Then, the same day,(approx 2 hours or so from the meeting ),I spied an email from CUC reading the documents hadn't gotten back to them in time, no go. My plan was to bring them the very next day, as being on RTD(public transit) it's a long trip there. I exploded unprofessionally in words @ the unprofessional attitude & behavior aimed @ me. It's possible I didn't measure up as far as credit report is concerned, however even then it's discretionary--a union can still take a chance on someone based on Chex systems, or a meeting in which they think you're "redeemed"--your committed to paying your bills, not overdrafting & such. A week later, after this about face, the union said, in so many words, we didn't close it then, but we are now because you didn't get back to us. It came off to me they just wanted to collect personal 💻 data in their system, & use it or cause it to be used to my detriment. In this society (the civilized half), in writing & verbal mean contractual, too, not just implications. In a nutshell, unprofessional, & it's possible to not 🛑 stop @ just this one. Best wishes to CUC, however attacking someone's high hopes is "not nice." This agency made 3 Chex systems reports on me, hurting my ability to move on with my life with a new financial institution. If there were a way to give them 0 stars, I would.

I showed up about 20 min before closing time on a Saturday. I just wanted to add my wife to my checking account so we could cash an insurance check made out to both of us. "Oh no, we're about to close and that takes around 40 minutes. You'll have to come back," the security guard told me. There were only a few people waiting for tellers.

If your posted hours are 9-1, why do you refuse people service when they come in during that timeframe?

I give 4 stars just because customer service has generally been helpful to me in the past, and the manager called me to apologize and said he'd try to make things better.

I'll now have to deposit the check somewhere else.

Probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Someone opened a fraudulent account in my name and after working with the local police department and their fraud team they admitted the account doesn't belong to me. However, they continue to send me monthly statements and late fees. I've talked to multiple people regarding this and it's obvious they don't care. Avoid this place like the plague. Their customer service is a joke. I'd stick my money in a coffee can and bury it in my back yard before opening an account at the Credit Union of Colorado!

I have been a member since I had only a savings as a child. I have had a successful loan experience for a car. I opened my first credit card at this specific location and every personal interaction I have encountered has met all my needs. I honestly do not have to visit any of the branch locations too often as the mobile banking is very self sufficient.

Just like every other CSECU branch in Denver that I have dealt with for 25 years now, these guys are GREAT. They have helpfully guided my wife and I through all kinds of financial transactions with genuinely friendly, accurate, and non-pressured (and free, or extremely reasonably priced) services and advice. No sales pitch for overpriced junk services or products here. The interest rates can't be beat, and the visa card payment terms are amazing. All of our family members bank here now.

Horrible company, they offered me skip a payment and then reported my loan delinquent when I had spoken to the lady a few weeks prior. No calls, nothing. Honestly wish I stayed with Wells Fargo for my car loan, if that's not saying something I dont know what is.

EDIT: I have spoken to the manager and he was less than helpful.

Shayna was extremely helpful and so understanding after I lost my debit card. This is absolutely the best bank, I’ve ever had. Security had hand sanitizer and a mask handy since I forgot my mask. Thanks so much!

This is definitely NOT the place to go through if you finance a car. By law, 3 late payments and they will come after your vehicle. Well we missed 2 payments due to my father in laws MEDICAL BILLS and they sent out a truck,WITHOUT ANY CONTACT LIKE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DO BY LAW, and my husband called them to see what he could do and they ARGUED with him about a month THAT HE ALREADY PAID FOR and we even have the bank statements saying that it went through in October. He was transferred to 3 different people when he told them that and no one would answer him and they ignored him because they knew they made a mistake. He should still have his car now but this is the kind of people that run credit unions apparently. Thanks for no transportation for my father in law with cancer.
