I have been with the Credit Union of Colorado and using the Lakewood location for over 20 years. During that time I've had checking and savings accounts, home mortgage, and home improvement loans, I've have always found all of the staff to be polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. One of the nice perks is that you can go in anytime their open to get something notarized for free.

1st time in 3 years I've had a negative experience with this credit union and it was only this branch. Lina provided TERRIBLE customer service as well as not providing accurate information about my services. Also messed my account up due to her wrong information. Very upset. May even lose a 6+ year customer

I would love to send my deepest thank you to Donna at a totally different branch for reaching out to me and being so kind and helping me get my correct 10 digit checking account number so I will not be having the same issues as previously. I will just have to see what I can do with my creditors on how to repair my 90 day late status.

my payments to creditors being returned due to funds being taken out of saving instead of checking account making me 90 days delinquent. Walking in to the Garrison branch and asking for my Checking account number I have always been told that my account number 7 numbers i was never aware that i had to put a sufix or 10 digit number to have funds withdrawn from the correct account assuming that my Checking account would be the account used to withdrawl funds. I spoke to Leo in the call services department a few weeks ago when I had another payment overdraft my savings account just to be rudely told that I had to have a 10 digit account number or that the credit union could withdraw money from what ever account they wanted since I didn't have a specific account noted. I was also told that I needed to go on line and down load the bank application since I only had cards account down loaded and I was not aware that there were multiple online applications for credit union of Colorado that I had to use. I have 90 day late payments on my credit report due to my payments being returned onto of having to pay creditors returned payment fees along with paying credit union of colorado over draft fees

My father who just moved down from Montana needed to find a bank to get his truck refinanced down here. We worked with Corrina at the Lakewood branch location. She was very knowledgeable and kind to me and my father. If I wasn't a loyal customer to CHASE bank I would have my banking with this Credit Union. I highly recommend this credit union to anyone who wants a car loan. They have very good rates on used cars. ( I am a used car salesman) Thank you!

As long as you are okay with a small 15$ members fee. They have thus far been exceptional with communication, security, and helpfulness. Will continue to keep coming back hopefully, member for a few months now. Love credit unions!

Del Young and his team at Credit Union of Colorado are my kind of people! This is the experience I enjoy from my credit union. They are on in the ball professionals who always take the time to be friendly and engaging with me and my partner, every time we visit! Not just some of the time like I have been treated elsewhere.
