CT Service saved me this morning! We were driving down the expressway at the beginning of a 16-hour drive home when, clunk-clunk-clunk, we had a blowout on our RV. CT not only got me in immediately, but when they couldn’t get my spare down (my issue, not theirs), they drove 30-minutes away to pick up a new tire! Talk about service! They’re friendly, helpful, and on top of it all, extremely fair pricing too!! We need more amazing shops like this around. So impressed.

I brought my car to CT Service at the end of July 2024 for repairs and was informed it had a blown head gasket. I approved the quoted repair cost of $3,400, which included replacing the gasket and machining the head. However, upon picking up my car, it was still smoking and running poorly. I immediately raised concerns, but I was assured the issues were due to residual antifreeze burning off. This explanation proved incorrect, and I returned the car the following Monday.

At that point, I was told the problem was due to the need for a "high-performance" head gasket. CT Service agreed to replace it and only charge me for the parts, as I believed this was warranty work. Following my approval, I was given repeated excuses about parts being backordered and delays with the correct bolts. Over the five-month period they had my car, I received very few updates and often had to reach out myself for any information on the progress of the repairs.

Finally, in mid to late November—more than five months later—I was informed my car now required a new turbo and engine. By this point, I had completely lost confidence in CT Service. Not only was I out $3,400 for the initial repairs, but my car was still unusable, and they were asking for thousands more to fix it.

When I decided to retrieve my car, I rented a car dolly to tow it. Despite agreeing to push the car out for towing, they started the engine and drove it, potentially causing further damage. I subsequently had the vehicle diagnosed by another shop, which identified a cracked head—the same head CT Service had machined and handled multiple times. It is clear the initial diagnosis and repair by CT Service were incorrect.

Throughout the process, I was promised multiple times that their general manager would contact me to address my concerns and help resolve the issues, but I never received a call. My attempts to reach out were either ignored or met with empty assurances, leaving me incredibly frustrated.

I also contacted the owners, Mike and Rhonda Whistance, to address these issues. While they initially said they would investigate, they failed to follow up and ignored my subsequent attempts to resolve the matter. Over three weeks have passed without any response or effort to make things right.

CT Service advertises itself as a shop with "trust and integrity," but my experience has been anything but that. I am now out $3,400, have incurred the cost of alternative transportation for five months, and must now pay a different shop to properly diagnose and repair my car. I would not recommend CT Service ever.

I brought my Ram 3500 in to have some after market performance parts installed. The shop quoted 3.5 hrs, just as the parts manufacturer stated. It took them more than double the time which made me nervous, but CT’s made a more than fair offer of the overage and I gladly paid it. As always they did a great job! No shady stuff from CT’s. Small town honesty and integrity. Highly recommend them. I’ve been to them twice, and always leave satisfied on pricing and quality of work. Great Job CT’s, and thank you!

Update: The Marketing manager reached out to me and offered to make the situation right. The staff at the Keenesburg location was very accomodating and quickly handled the additional service.
I have used this garage for repairs to my vehicles several times, always with great results and timliness. However, this time, was the largest repair I have needed, and they dropped the ball. What was supposed to be a 2 day job ended up in them keeping my pickup for an entire week, with no initial communication that it would be longer than they had promised (I called them to see when I could pick it up, only to be told they hadn't even started on it). Minimal apologies made with no suggestions as to how they would make it right (hey, we will rotate your tires for you while it is here, or something of that nature). Unfortunately, they have lost my business due to this huge error.

I took my 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500hd due to a slipping transmission, I thought. Turned out to be the transfer case. CT kept me updated on the progress and also repaired a glow plug issue. The repairs were completed earlier than estimated. Very friendly communication and reasonable cost for the repairs. I will be back in the future and highly reccomend them.

Our car broke down on I-76 towards the end of a long road trip and we got the car towed to CT Service. It was at the end of the day Friday, so they weren't able to look at it until Monday. They did a good repair and had the car back to me by the end of Wednesday (they needed to get a part shipped overnight). I was fearing one of those scenarios where we break down along the highway and end up with expensive and unnecessary repairs at a local shop. CT Service was able to accurately diagnose the problem and make just the repairs needed at a reasonable price. They were professional and if I lived closer by I would bring my cars back to them for future work.

Was traveling from out of town and the crew had our problem diagnosed and us back on the road in a very timely manner on a late Friday afternoon.
Process was explained clearly and at a very reasonable price. I wish I didn't live several states away as they would be my new go to shop.
