Posting this in hopes of saving someone from the time and frustration I’ve gone through. If you're thinking about buying a VW, you may want to reconsider. While they may be more affordable, the quality reflects the price. I purchased my vehicle six months ago and have experienced numerous issues. The staff is not properly trained to handle complex situations, and despite taking my car in twice for a concerning noise, they dismissed my concerns both times. It was a complete waste of time, and they claimed there was nothing they could do. I even left a voicemail for the manager to express my concerns and was told they were out of the office but would call me back once they returned. They never did. This entire experience has been a nightmare, and I will definitely be switching to a different brand. The service has been absolutely unacceptable. 0 stars Do better.

After several other dealers were scammers, liars and simply not good business people, we were DELIGHTED with the service at Dirito Brothers. We called to confirm they had the vehicle we wanted on the lot, available and that it had already had the id.4 recall.

We drove 1.5 hours hoping to not be disappointed and it was absolutely worth it! Zach was a fantastic salesman. Everything was ready to go with paperwork already set for us and we were able to sign with Eddie lightening fast. Round trip, including a car purchase was 4 hours total. That put us in the dealer no more than 50 minutes! It was amazing. We'll always go to Dirito for Volkswagens from now on!

This was my first time going to a dealership to look at a car, test drive a car, and purchase a car. I set up an appointment with Gus (Gus the Bus) and he is was absolutely amazing. He came in on his day off and did not complain at all. He did not push me or make me uncomfortable during this whole process. He spoke to my whole family and connected with all of them. He really made me feel like family when I was speaking with him. He went above and beyond and gave me extras parts that the previous owner had left with the car. He was extremely communicative texting me and emailing me at all times of the day. Whether you are purchasing a new car or a used car I highly recommend coming here and speaking with Gus! You will not regret it!

I recently visited Dirito Brothers Walnut Creek Volkswagen to test drive the Volkswagen ID.4 and had a disappointing experience with Gus, the salesman. I chose this dealership after reading reviews praising Gus for being patient, resourceful, and not pushy, helping people find their dream car. However, my experience was the complete opposite.

From the moment we arrived at 5 PM (an hour before closing), Gus seemed rushed and uninterested in understanding what we were looking for. Instead, he focused on upselling us and pressuring us to put down a $500 deposit just to reserve a chance to test drive the Pro S trim. While I was still filling out paperwork, he kept interrupting to talk about how popular the ID.4 is and made inappropriate jokes about getting my car keys to check its trade-in value.

During the test drive, I had questions about the car’s features, but Gus was impatient, repeatedly urging us to start driving and stating he couldn’t stay past 6 PM. To make matters worse, he left us to test drive alone so he wouldn’t get locked out of the dealership. This made the interaction feel rushed and unprofessional. If there were time constraints, he should have informed us upfront instead of making us feel like an inconvenience.

When we returned, he provided vague, ballpark numbers for leasing options and repeatedly talked over us as we asked questions. He seemed more focused on selling a specific car than on listening to our needs, creating a stressful and uncomfortable experience.

I don’t know what changed, but Gus did not live up to the positive reviews I read. This interaction felt like we were being treated as dollar signs rather than customers looking for a car that fits our needs. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed, and I would not recommend this dealership based on my experience.
