Very honest and easy to work with. No games. Fully transparent and honest. They gave me their best price up front and without hesitation. It's hard to explain just how much better it is to deal with this dealership than all the others. It is night and day. I have been shopping for a few months in UT where I live and was tired of the games and just decided to keep my old car. Just by chance I did a wider search and found Durango Toyota had the car I wanted. I made the call and within just a few minutes I had a price quote. It was a great price. They even gave me a great price on my trade. I drove 400 miles and made the deal. I will buy my next car here.

Recently, I embraced the adventure of purchasing a certified 2023 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road and transported it from Texas to my home in Durango, where I plan to use it intermittently until making a full-time move. My commitment to supporting my local dealership and choosing OEM parts and proper service intervals stems from a deep-rooted history of maintaining me and my family's vehicles through proactive care. This philosophy extends the life of my cars and minimizes the need for reactive repairs, in my opinion.

To gauge the integrity of the Toyota dealership in Durango, I scheduled an appointment for my Tacoma, mentioning that my horn was not functioning—a genuine safety concern. This was a deliberate step, as trust in a dealership's service is paramount. I deliberately put in a burnt fuse! When I arrived, a technician quickly made me an appointment, understanding the hustle of the holiday week. I returned at 7:30 AM a week later and reiterated my horn issue. Twenty minutes later, I was relieved to find they had met the challenge, and let me know that it was just a fuse and replaced it for free! I now have complete confidence they will take great care of my Taco! Given this uplifting experience, I feel inspired to give them a five-star rating and will continue to rely on them for my vehicle's service needs. I wholeheartedly recommend this shop to anyone seeking reliable and honest diagnostics!

McKenzie was delightful to work with. She was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the vehicle—so much so that we purchased our 2025 Highlander Hybrid on the spot even though we were “just looking”. Our experiences with Ramon and Derek on the paperwork/financial side were just as enjoyable and they were each highly knowledgeable, professional and extremely personable. Our whole experience at the dealership made for a fun day!

I purchased a new 2024 Tundra from Durango Toyota. The initial sales experience was good. However, when I went to pick up the new vehicle on the appointed day, nothing was ready. All of the sales people were gone to some meeting and no one was expecting me. A brand new associate finally did their best to help me. The vehicle was not detailed or ready. I did not write a review at that time because anyone can have a bad day or event.

Now it is Jan 2025. There was a recall on my truck. I am in Cortez, an hour away. I scheduled the appointment for 11AM. I was texted and asked to arrive at least 15 minutes early. We arrived 1/2 hour early. The recall was for the "replacement of 1 tire". I called about 2 hours later, and they indicated they were still waiting on a technician to start working on my truck. They said it would not be ready until 3PM. They finally got the vehicle back to us at 3:30PM. So it took 4 1/2 hours to replace 1 tire?

I did not give a 1 star review because I had an exceptional experience with their accessories department a couple of months earlier. They fixed a problem with my tunnel cover that I caused. They were efficient and helpful. Very impressed with their service.

Because I live out of town, I cannot drop the vehicle off and go home. So I ended up hanging around most of the day waiting. Why make an appointment and ask me to come early when they did not even work on it for the first 2 hours I have purchased 2 Toyota trucks in the last several years. The first was at Mark Miller Toyota in Salt Lake City. I will most likely go back to them rather than Durango on my next purchased. I think good service after the sale is very important.

McKenzie Miller made the process of buying a truck so dang easy and fun. I went to multiple dealers in Santa Fe and Albuquerque New Mexico and they were just money hungry. Making the trip to Durango was entirely worth it. The process was smooth being that i bought out of state. And i am in love with my truck. McKenzie made sure i got everything i wanted. They even follow up with me and make sure i love the truck and to even wish me a happy birthday. I highly recommend the Toyota in Durango & McKenzie.

I was skeptical about buying my new car here, as i am from Texas. It was 100% online. Never been to this dealership. However, i want to voluntarily give my review and my experience here. Sales representatives were very friendly, no game zone (unlike many in my past), transparent, respectful and especially value time. I had great experience and want to thank you. I definitely recommend this dealership.

The Toyota service department is by far the best service department I've had the pleasure to work with. I have a 2021 4 runner and picked up a screw in one of my back tires. I scheduled an appointment to get it fixed but mistakenly arrived for mentioned appointment 6 days early. Being that I had a very slow air leak from the tire, Jarred Peters could have sent me away until my actual appointment date, but he didn't. He made sure that the technicians that day were okay with squeezing me in which shows that he has respect for his team. Needless to say, they fit me in and my tire was fixed at NO COST!!!
Today was my original appointment for the tire but I didn't cancel it because my fog lights stopped working....both at the same time which was a little worrisome. I arrived as scheduled this time and Jarred seemed a little confused since my tire was fixed the week before. I explained to him why I kept the appointment and he was vary accomidatung. He gave me an explanation of possible costs and what my extended warranty would cover vs what it wouldn't pending the issue. I was not prepared to pay the cost IF the issue wasn't covered but Jarred advocated for me. I was told that we all live in a small community and the Toyota Service department are always willing to help out its neighbors. My lights were fixed and AGAIN, I was not charged. The issue was actually not covered by my warranty and the service manager (sorry, I don’t remember his name) was the one who authorized the "help thy neighbor" fee of $0.00 out of pocket cost for me. I am very happy with the work done on my 4 runner, but I am ellated with the fact that there are people like the folks at the Toyota Service Department care about the people of this community and go out of their way to make sure their customers are taken care of in more ways than just servicing the vehicles they are fixing. Thank you Jarred and team!!!! You all rock!!!!

Our Prius was giving us a maintenance required indicator, urging us to take it to the nearest Toyota dealership to get serviced. We live down in Cortez, so we called ahead to see what their hours were like, and they informed us that they take cars in to be serviced up until 4 pm. Imagine our surprise when we showed up at 2 pm on Friday only to be told that they couldn’t look at our car today, because there were 3 cars ahead of us in line, and it would take until 4 to get them all serviced.
Now, I think that if you say you take cars until 4 pm, you should accept appointments until 4 pm, just like every other business on the face of the planet. Or, if you’re going inexplicably to have it set up in this manner, you would at least let people know that even if they show up hours before close, if there’s a line, you will be turned away. I find it ridiculous that we drove an hour only to be told they couldn’t help us with the one thing we came down to Durango to do, after having done our due diligence. It’s a downright idiotic policy that results in abysmal customer service. I can say after this experience, I would not recommend the Durango Toyota dealership to anyone.
