A member for nearly 20 years, their banking and mortgage products were always great. But after a fall 2023 update to their online user platform, we can no longer get reliable data from our accounts. Credit card data can't be reliably sorted by description because of junk data being added into the description, can't sort expenses by using the last four digits of the credit card as that data is no longer provided in the transaction details visible to users, and in two significant high priority instances where we needed to move billing from one card to another form of payment due to cc fraud, it took over 3 hours of me downloading a csv file, find/replace special characters and junk numbers in the description, then breaking out descriptions by space to further see actual vendor names and continue to sort/find/replace until I had a consistent look at the vendor name. Even then, no cc# differentiation was available. After reporting this as an issue in January 2024, it's December 2024 and the party line is "we know and haven't got a fix." That means they haven't got anyone on the back end working on making software updates to provide financial data that is usable for members to get accurate budgeting and maintaining financial payments in the worst case scenario such as ours when a credit card was compromised. Everyone at the branch sure tries to be helpful on the phone, but this is a major issue at the senior executive level that will likely have us moving our accounts in the new year. Without providing and maintaining reliable data for end users into their online platform, along with the lack of will to effectively resolve these data issues since the fall 2023 roll out, Elevations Credit Union executives have lost our confidence and likely our accounts. Be wary of putting your hard earned money into a credit union that fails to offer up solid reporting of your own financial information.

My daughter and I used Elevations Credit Union to finance our house.
Although I have purchased multiple homes in the past, this was my daughter's first home purchase. I let her be the point of contact, as I wanted it to be a learning experience for her. We were very fortunate to be introduced to Ian Bennett and his team; they were Amazing!! Ian took so much time to answer all my daughter's questions, and educate her on all the steps of getting financed. He also helped her through the intricacies involved in the purchase. On two separate occasions, I repeatedly contacted my previously assigned mortgage lender, Lacey Hoenshell, by phone and email requesting assistance to apply for a refinance through Elevations on a first property in 2020 and never heard back from her despite multiple outreaches. Over the last four weeks, I have again reached out to her multiple times, again by both phone and email, only this time to request assistance in securing a primary mortgage for a second home I considered purchasing. I never heard back from her. While Elevations may offer competitive loan rates, their customer service, at least with my previously assigned loan officer, have been disappointing. In both cases, I took my business elsewhere and have been very satisfied with those outcomes.
