Look elsewhere for modern banking practices and customer service. I have been a small business client for over a decade and it's time to move to a better bank. They are constantly putting my mobile deposits on hold for several days at a time. Chase Bank puts them through immediately. They have very limited EFT options for me and my employees. And they consistently take over a week to respond to any customer service inquiries through their website. Bank of the West is antiquated and their customer service is rarely able to help me. In this day and age there are far better options. Look elsewhere.

We just left this bank after an awful customer service experience both with the corporate office and local branch.
Our account had a fee issue and we tried to the call customer service line on 5 different occasions to resolve the matter, each time we reached a part of the menu where they simply hung up on us due to staffing issues. We called the local branch who told us that we just needed to keep trying to get through to the 800 number. Meanwhile Bank of the West was continually charging us absorbent fees and sent us to collections over $120 worth of charges that they had created! My partner and I had to take off work and drive down from Nederland so we could go in person. The operations manager told us that there was nothing they could do and are upholding the fees. They lost a customer for life. My partner and I wanted to support this local branch with a great mission and 1% for the planet initiate. Their lack of customer service and inability to service customers is really disappointing. I would recommend taking your business elsewhere.

We have been banking with Bank of the West for over 20 years. As business owners we have had excellent relationship with the managers at this particular branch. From Marissa Morrison to Heather. Over the last couple of years we have received outstanding service from Abe Mares Lopez. He is on top of his game. The presence of good business managers is the main reason why we
have kept all of our business accounts with this bank.

Today I go to get some cash and am told that I can only deposit money. No access to cash. Can not use my debit card at any store! How does this happen? Their system is down. Are they going to pay my landlord my late fee for my rent? I am told to talk to my landlord on Monday to explain that I have no access to any cash. Like he is really going to believe that?

Love Bank of the West and especially this branch! Always friendly and helpful. I had an issue where I thought a hacker got ahold of my accounts. They closed my accounts right away and opened new ones. Always a great experience with them!
