A few years ago, I felt like this was a “home town bank” that actually took care of their clientele. As time progresses, I come to realize that everyone is no more than an account number to this bank. Between having to produce hundreds of thousands of dollars (nearly 45% down) in order to get a new house for my family while our current was on the market (another local lender had no problem believing in me), to constant push back on my wife’s name for checks written out to her and myself. They have signs that “they want to check ID to check our address/update it” but clerks don’t update it for months or until mail gets returned a year later. Along with policies that clearly harm the customer in order to line their own pockets. They are charging fees for services they DID NOT PROVIDE. My business is moving elsewhere.

5 star bank that gives a 5 star experience! The staff here is top notch, all around! No matter what type of help you need from this bank, they have the perfect person to help! I must say my personal banker Allison is incredible! So ON IT, personable, and action oriented! It’s a great feeling! Anytime I’ve ever needed anything, she’s always right there to address and help with things!! And let’s talk about the hours! Open until 7pm, 6 days a week!! Glad to call first federal my bank!!

Local banking the way its supposed to be. This bank has served as my principal bank for decades but through my business I work with a wide number of other banks. The national banks clog you up with process and layers. At First Federal you get to talk to a human being who listens to what you are asking, figures out what you need and gets you taken care of. If a decision needs to be made, they make it and if they don't have the authority to do that, they find someone quickly who does have the authority and gets you taken care of. Plus, their drive up is open until 7:00 p.m. on a Saturday. Big thumbs up!

This is a great bank!
I had some problems with them, nothing to big, just some frustrations that seemed to be more of an inconvience than they actually were.
HOWEVER! And that However is in all caps for a reason.
Someone had stolen my card info while my wife and I were on vacation.
Once we called the bank it was as if it never happened. It was the most professional transaction I had ever witnessed and I was very greatful that I was at this bank. Their integrity is outstanding and very hard to find now a days. I am very greatful to them for what they have done and wont be leaving for a long time to come, if ever.

I wish they hadn’t closed their lobby on Saturdays recently. Any time you reduce access for people is a step backwards in the customer service world, in my opinion. I don’t enjoy trying to do banking transactions in my car or spending extensive amounts of time in the drive-up line waiting for help. Just a bummer.

I've banked at PNC for years. I recently got a checking account at First Federal because of a joint account with someone who already had a mortgage account with them. I do ALL my banking online or by mobile. First Federal doesn't even offer mobile banking, and their online banking is a joke. Their "Help" link takes you to a DOCUMENT. After searching repeatedly throughout their entire site, I finally found an email address. I emailed them almost 2 weeks ago about an issue, and haven't heard back. I'm so frustrated with them. PNC is much better, and I would love to go back.

For those of you out there reading these older reviews, they are inaccurate . There is an online banking app. Search First Federal Concierge and you will see the blue and green logo on the correct app. Second, their online site is rather simple to navigate. If you can't figure out the site, maybe you should call and speak to someone. They don't have an automated answering service that leaves you talking to a computer and dialing the options you want like PNC does either. Most times, my questions can be answered by the first person to pick up the phone.
