Im terribly tardy with this but buying a home when you work 5-12s means weekends have been booked but i had a min so here goes!
Now im fully Aware there are likely several great agents at FLS but i can only speak to the character of one!

I met Pam in 2018, it was the first time id ever stepped foot in TN and i fell in love with the Smokies. The Monday i returned to illinois i called a random Lending agency i found on Google.
That call started an amazing and sometimes disappointing journey to call myself and my Son Tennesseans!
Pam, returned my call that afternoon.
We spoke about a property i saw while here visiting and she crunched some numbers to see where i was.
She informed me i wasnt ready to buy but also instructed me on what i needed to do to make it happen.
By 2020 i was there but we all know what 2020 brought and I accepted a position with a Tn based company that offered reloco if i stayed with them a yr.
By then Pam and i had stayed in touch JIC something came up and then C19 happened. I was workin alot and didnt get to chat with Pami much.
In January 2022 i found out the Tn based company i worked for was based in MEMPHIS 🤮 and id have to work out there to retain my position and take advantage of the reloco assist! Um NO?
In February i was offered a position In Knoxville as an Electrician Supervisor and i accepted.
The position was held for me untill i
moved here June 18th 2022.
We started looking at houses with a realtor and i stupidly used the lender suggested by a realtor i didnt know.

Pam and i have an inside joke.
She was by my side from 2018 and when she found out i had hired a different lender she jokingly said,
I feel like a cheated on gf! 🤣💚 (never pami never!) Lol Anyway, she didnt get bitter. Instead she offered her expertise and advice as needed.
That experience with the "others" cost me all the work i did to make it possible for PAM to make my son and i homeowners.
A 740 score down to 570! 15k in savings dwindled away paying for inspections, and earnests, and appraisals and extended stay hotels.
Pam said, well Bri ya know what to do! get on it!
That was 18 months ago!
Long story longer,
Pamela Witt, not my lender but my FRIEND, called to check in on us last December around the Holidays and by Feb 1 we were looking for a home again.

Pam made dang sure to be involved in all of my sillyness, irritation, short attitude sometimes.

Let's face it, buying a home is stressful. Your dealing with a ton of moving parts, people, emails, phone calls, "double checks" of already updated information that you have provided to everyone it seems like. One of The Key Players in this whole process is your lender. Working with Alan Vogan was like working with a great Uncle. He was there and "held my hand" through the whole process. I was never passed around to random people that didnt know everything that had already happened in the process. He was so responsive, even when he couldn't respond, he would let me know. He answered text messages on weekends, early mornings, and late nights. When your buying a home, timing is everything. It was so settling knowing that I could just call Alan and he would help answer my questions. He has a wonderful team that he works with and they all communicate, it truly made the sometimes tedious tasks so much easier. I can't say enough positive things about working with Alan and his team. He really does run an amazing organization and I felt like I was in good hands from start to finish.
