Told me to call my caseworker I tried to call my caseworker the call would not go through so I called them back and told them what was happening. They told me she was out of minutes and to call her back and leave a message and then I try to explain to them that they call cannot go through because she is out of minutes and they kept telling me to leave her a message..

They were incredibly passive aggressive the entire time I was on the phone

I would like to start with the positive that when I can get an answer the front desk lady is very nice and helpful. L. Spencer is the most unprofessional person I think I’ve ever dealt with. The first day we spoke I just assumed she was having a bad day. We’ve spoke multiple times since then and she speaks as if I’m her child or below her. I don’t understand why she is so nasty but something should be done. I’ve reached out to her supervisor to make a complaint and I’ve yet to hear anything. I will be reaching out to Richmond in the morning if I don’t hear anything. Then I will write whoever I need to about this lady.

Unorganized, unprofessional in conducting work in a timely manner, not returning calls, receptionist does answer the phone, unable to get another Social Service to contact the Franklin office to address why they're not answering their phone, personnel take criticism personally instead of doing what's requires of them to perform their job, any problems that occur with your case should be discussed in a manner to correct the issue and spoken with supervisor if needed assistance not the customer. This is the only Social Service that's not ran the same under the state like another other cities nor following their guideline. There's not a regional office number to file a complaint about this Social Service because it goes right back to the same people at this location that's not solving the problem. Also, they ask customers to provide receipts for payment but not the city of Franklin for payment towards the account. That's against their policy causing over payments towards utility companies. This social service also sends out energy assistance checks to customers & the vendor. It should be a choice to all customers not to whom they show favoritism too.

DSS in Franklin are ~ utterly unprofessional and inconsistent. This is the worst agency I have ever encountered. I thank my God I have never been at their mercy awaiting assistance. I pray for those people who have waited for them to answer the phone, return a call, or simply be able to give direction to whom ever could help. The not my problem attitude is not appropriate for an institution that so many families depend on.

If I could've gave 0 stars I would've...the front desk people are very helpful and nice but the workers themselves are rude and NASTY! If you have any type of case open with these people I'm truly sorry for you they'll make you want to close EVERYTHING!

Worst place I've ever experienced in life. They never answer the phone, always have an excuse, and prolong their own work. I've never had a problem like this before and new case managers are the damn worse. Unbelievable

This place is the worst the case workers don't care about the people, everyone isn't there to use the Government!! The Ladies in the Front are GREAT!! They make you feel like a person not a Bum.

My experience here has always been horrible the only person with great customer service skills is Ms. Reynolds the childcare intake worker I lived in Franklin before and dreaded having to move back because the assistance I needed through DSS, they send out papers after the dated paperwork is due and then expect you to automatically know when the new date is to return, I recently went in on a Monday to get my EBT back because of this paper not being turned in with no new changes today is Wednesday of the next week and still no EBT other recipients were in there two days last week with me having the same problem with the same worker, they are very inconsiderate and do not make the attempt to get anything done in a prompt manner there attitude is as if they are giving to you out of there pocket, they need to remember there purpose for being there is to help and assist not judge and try to use there position to discipline you when you don't get paperwork back to them, they do not send out any notice of available assistance when it comes like cooling assistance etc. I have been in Franklin a little over a year and have never known when these programs start or end even down to the Christmas program. This is definitely an establishment that needs to have someone from corporate come and clean shop this place has been this way for years and has gotten worse I chose to advance my education in life so that I could deal with them as little a possible but it still doesn't change the fact that they have some of the worse attitudes working in there, God Bless the ones that are struggling and really need the help these people have forgotten there ethical morals why they even started doing what they do if it was ever a career to them maybe it was just a check and the power to be over a person in need which is pathetic, HELP!! PLEASE SEND SOME FRIENDLY FACES without these people having a need there would be no reason for YOU ALL to even have your jobs please count your blessings
