I purchased a number of commercial items, all of which it turns out that do not work as advertised, to include two F-250 Superduty trucks for my small company fleet that came with the "IronClad" guarantee. Both trucks have undisclosed water storm damage that the Ford Master Mechanic believes they tried to hide. Who do I hold responsible, the auction or the seller. I called them again today, @ 10:30 am (EST) on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 to be told they are closed...despite an outgoing message stating that they open at 0700 CST.... D@%m !!

Bought a trailer and firstly had issues with the title paperwork and navigating the website to complete the transaction which took them two days to sort out. Then no notifications about the 7 day window coming up for payment and when I call in after the date (after15min on hold), they've relisted the item (again with no followup or notifications) and tell me that if i want to buy another one i have to pay them a default fee before bidding again. Willing to help 0, communication 0, and obviously need more staff to answer their phones. Not going to be using govplanet again if this is how they treat a new customer.

Shame on me for not checking the reviews before buying a toothpick from this firm! I purchased a vehicle paid inn full the same day only to be stuck with a vehicle I can not use because they have not sent me the correct title paperwork. I have made several calls and sent emails, exactly as others have stated on here. Only to be put on hold for 30 minutes 45 minutes an hour, and then either get hung up on or get zero information, only stories and false hope. I buy vehicles from towing auctions and always leave with the proper paperwork at time of purchase so I assumed this would be the same, absolutely not. Do yourself a favor and don't get taken advantage of. Can someone say class action lawsuit ? Do not buy from GovPlanet unless you want to be misled, and have a useless vehicle you can't use! Hopefully this saves someone else a lot of grief.

I have bought from ironplanet since they started. Since Ritchie Bros took over horrible customer service, inspections are incorrect, fees are high. Pickup support always sound like they are just waking up or there a kids crying in the background. Ritchie bro's was a great company no they are the worst.

They’re the worst. I bought my truck for 15k and couldn’t drive it out of California. It was faulty truck with false information. I spent 1500 to fix & tow and attempt to fix it. But now it’s at dealership and I’m gonna spend 3,500$ to fix it. I flew back home to CO and left my truck in Reno, NV. I call to make a dispute but was offer to take the truck back and resell it to get my money . My question was, how can you resell it when it’s not working. HIS ANSWER WAS: people buy things all the time. I was shook. But I took The L fix my truck and move on. But please do your research before you to these guys. Also RichieBrothers are a scam. Thanks! From a hard working immigrant (lol) I ain’t steal nobody jobs but create my own One Love

I bought an item for $3000 when i received it, it was completely broken. I filed a dispute and after 1 month of trying to get an email back I get denied because they supposedly had packaged the item correctly, honor your sales ! Complete waste of time and money. No one higher than a dispute team to talk to. What a waste of money, last time they are getting my business

Wished i could give them a zero star! They sold me a vehicle they couldn't get a title for and they didn't have the decency to reimburse me for the fees I had to go through to get the vehicle and expenditures. Had the vehicle over 6 months and the best they would do is take it back. No compensation for what they put me through not even store credit. Ask for iron planet they'll transfer you to government planet. Government planet then transfers you back to iron planet. Worst customer service ever experienced. Don't buy anything from them unless you don't plan to use it! It's not my fault you couldn't legally sell me the vehicle so why am I the one having to pay for your mistake?

Iron Planet dragged this for about two months, ignoring our emails and forwarding our calls to the "title department" that is a dead end voice mail. After the 5th voicemail left we called again the same person that finally told us they would not do anything to help. They sold us a lift boom trailer (item #1834375) with a bill of sale back in November. The problem is that when we went to the DMV they refused to do a title without a certificate of title for a trailer weighting over 2000 lbs. The item has not been sold as a part out item, and it is coming from the same state as us (Florida) so we didn't expect them to not provide the documentation needed to have usage of it. We need ether Iron Planet to provide proper documentation so we can enjoy usage of the item or a refund. We won't purchase any other equipment on Iron Planet until this matter is resolved.
