On a family road trip from Minnesota to Colorado, we were entering the canyon area of Glenwood Springs ,as our brakes began fading and eventually failed. With the brakes out, we saw Jim's Automotive Service. We pulled into the parking lot right at their closing time. We met with owner Jim Mullen who was very personable, taking care of us ,and writing up the work order. Jim and his staff completed the work in a timely manner providing exceptional service and saving the road trip vacation. We greatly appreciated Jim working us in to their schedule and doing the repairs the following day.. THANK YOU JIM!!

Heard a rattling sound in the back of the car after camping and Jim's took the time to look at our car at 5:30 on a Friday. Found out it was the heat shield and were on our way -- Jim's made it such a quick and easy experience when we were worried that it would derail our trip. We really appreciated it!

We were traveling W on I70 in Glenwood canyon and a large box truck knocked a CDOT sign into our lane in the elevated section. No way to avoid it and we hit it and the sign went under the our Dodge 3500 truck.
We pulled off at rest area and the front differential cover was damaged and leaking bad. Had no choice but to get a tow.
We had a recommendation of Jim's automotive The service we received was Spectacular.
Jim was able to get it in the shop that afternoon and was able to make the needed repair that afternoon, yes that afternoon.
When traveling and you have a breakdown you are very vulnerable as you are stuck.
Jim repaired our truck and we picked it up the next day. The cost was more than fair Jim wanted to make sure this didn't destroy our trip.
Jim even followed up to make sure everything was OK.
I CANOT SAY HOW GREAT HIS SERVICE WAS.

I called to get a quote on a repair, and though I knew exactly what needed replaced, when I took it in to have it fixed, they doubled the amount that I was quoted. When I had made the decision to take it elsewhere, and had told them as much, they continued to do work and then didn’t tell me I was being charged until the tow showed up and they refused to let him take my car. So not only did I tell them not to do any work, they did so anyway and then wouldn’t release my car until I paid them. They didn’t tell me this AT ALL, even though I spoke with them on the phone 3 times, until I had someone waiting to take my car. The customer service was horrible, the prices OUTRAGEOUS, and they can not be trusted to not charge when they won’t. Wish I could leave ZERO stars.

We called Jim’s when we were having issues with our brakes driving across Colorado, his shop fit us in for a safety inspection very quickly and didn’t charge us for it. Very friendly staff and nice waiting room.

Quick, smart, honest, and overall amazing service. I needed an electrical component installed on my jeep that needed to tow a Uhaul and found out only last minute. Would've been in a bad spot if i couldn't get it done, but i brought my jeep to Jim and his crew and they helped me right away at a very reasonable price, especially for same day service. Hannah was very helpful in giving me rides back to town and then back to Jim's when the work was done. I couldn't have been more happy and satisfied with the work done, and the respect and courtesy Jim and his crew showed me. I highly recommend them to everyone!!!!

Nothing but good things to say about Jim’s Automotive and their staff. When all the other shops were unable to accommodate for weeks out, Dodge Motors in Glenwood Springs personally recommended Jim’s Automotive. They got us in right away and had a diagnosis back to us by the time they promised (almost unheard of in past experiences). Josh was our point of contact from start to finish. He is very knowledgeable and gives you all the options up front. Also, he gives you time to make a decision and doesn’t rush you as automotive work can be very expensive. Affordable, accommodating, knowledge and friendly staff. Definitely the preferred friendly neighborhood automotive shop. Will recommend to friends.
