Getting anyone to answer the phone in a TIMELY manner is impossible. A month ago I sat on the phone for 3.5 hours total, to talk to them for 10 minutes. Today, they sent a letter out asking for MORE info (which I have already given to them TWICE) I have called three times and been on hold for over an hour each time. I have a toddler and cannot sit on the phone all day! I also cannot drag him out with me as he is impatient and learning. They really need a new phone system, this is a disaster for people who just need a little help.

There's a person behind a window that's knowledgeable for the most and can direct you further more on what steps you need to take for your particular situation. I was able to get the information I needed from her so it was a useful resource for me.

Easy to deal with if you have the right documentation, if not they will help you in the right direction.

I’m the advocate for the father and children in this case. CPS closed the file as soon as the father finally secured medical insurance himself — even though the mother had refused to provide it for months. One of the children needed follow-up care after multiple ER and urgent care visits, but the mother never followed through. We submitted documentation of neglect, but CPS never truly investigated. Deeply disappointed.

I also was helped by the wonderful lady at the front window. I can't stand the automated phone system so I drove 30 miles to speak to a human. She had me taken care of in ten minutes. Delightful to talk to and an infectious smile and laugh.

Why would you send a letter telling someone to call between certain times if you won’t answer? I sat on the phone for an hour and 30 minutes just waiting for someone to answer for my “reapplication interview.”
This place is an honest joke. The case workers are nice, but unfortunately they aren’t the ones answering the phones up front.
I’m going to have to go in tomorrow with my baby.
You guys need to do better. You’re messing with peoples lives here. Not everyone is dealt a great hand in life and sometimes they need help.
They can’t get help if you don’t answer the phones you told them to call. 🥴
