Do not go here! They charged $200 just to get the codes we already had and gave to them. Then proceeded to tell us they don't do that service job so we had to take it somewhere else and pay again! They could've said with the codes we came with that if they were correct that job couldn't be done there, but no. They just want to take your money and not fix the issue! They didn't even do a diagnostic look through and the other mechanic shop we went to said they should have and we got scammed! DO NOT GO HERE!! I even bought my Chevy from them and this is how they treat their customers!

I would strongly advise anyone considering Morehart Murphy for service work to think twice. My mother took her 2015 Chevrolet Camaro in for repairs under an extended service contract, only to endure an absolute nightmare. The service work took over two months to complete, leaving her without a vehicle and forcing her to rent one for several weeks—racking up over $1,000 in rental costs. If it weren’t for family stepping in to help, she would have been out thousands more.

To make matters worse, while attempting to fix a heater component, they broke her windshield—and now they’re forcing her to pay out of pocket because it’s "not covered" under the service contract. That’s right, their mistake, yet no accountability.

The communication throughout this ordeal was abysmal. My mother had to call every time just to get an update, as they clearly had no intention of keeping her informed. After learning they were refusing to take responsibility for the windshield, I personally called to reason with them. The response? Rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to assist. This is how they treat their customers—like an inconvenience rather than a priority.

A business that doesn’t value customer satisfaction is one destined to fail, and Morehart Murphy is a prime example. Their complete lack of care, accountability, and professionalism is staggering. I highly doubt they will even bother to reach out or make this right. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, take your business elsewhere. This place only cares about taking advantage of hard-working people—be warned.

I've had nothing but problems with the warranty service on my vehicle with these guys. Unfortunately there is nowhere else to go within any reasonable distance.

I've had parts not reassembled properly, additional damage done during service, and items not installed during my multiple visits.

I've been very patient with them but am finally fed up after spraying washer fluid all over my engine bay because they didn't reattach the hose.

I hope they will finally resolve all my issues on my 3rd visit.

I have been dealing with Elliot at Morehart Murphy Regional Auto Center and my experiance has been delightful. We built a new truck together on the GMC website, ordered it and it came in earlier than projected.Elliot met all my expectations for customer service and the dealership was a very inviting, easy and safe environment. I have purchased many new vehicles in my 62 years and this was one of the best buying experiences I have ever had.

She was friendly and accommodating. She got my car in and out quickly, and explained everything I needed to know about the service. If I could I would give the service department 0 stars. Took my 2019 GMC Yukon Denali in because the front end is sagging really bad, I bottom out on the highway driving 70 if the grade change is to steep….they tell me nothings wrong with it. Take it to a local mechanic electric shocks are not working. I just want to know how a certified dealer machanic can look at a vehicle that looks like this and say nothings wrong with it. I also drove an hour just to have them check it out, with the mind set that a GM dealership would have the most knowledge on my vehicle. No that’s crazy to think apparently, $2200 and 5 days out of commission, I finally had the front shocks replaced and it drives and looks normal. Absolutely unacceptable!

On 11/27/24 we called Morehart GM dealership inquiring about a used 2013 GMC Yukon Denali. Elliot the salesman said there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. He said it had been gone over with a fine-tooth comb in their service dept. He was supposed to send us photos of the vehicle that Weds. evening. We never received photos until Fri. morning. He said he did, but he text photos to a wrong phone number. On Fri. morning when we received them, one of the photos showed the right front bumper indicating some damage. He stated that it was only a "scuff". It was not, it was actual damage. Minor, but damaged. After we inquired about the damage, he said he disclosed it because he didn't want there to be any surprises. In hindsight, he should have disclosed it upon our initial conversation on Weds. We asked him if there was any other damage, and he said "no" there wasn't. After seeing the damaged front bumper in the photo, we called 2 body shops and sent photos of the damage and what it would cost to repair. It was anywhere from $800 to $950. That wasn't a deal breaker, but we wanted to have the dealership take that amount off of the sales price.
We traveled 220 miles one way from Walsenburg to Durango to test drive it. When we arrived, we had several more surprises. The windshield was chipped and cracked (When we saw it, Elliott did say the dealership would credit us), the rear bumpers had very noticeable scrapes and scratches, the rear tailgate window heater defrost wire connection was pulled off the window. The dash was cracked in two places. Upon having a mechanics shop do a pre-purchase inspection at our expense, they found that the oil cooler lines needed replacement, the rack and pinon assembly was leaking, an axle shaft oil seal was leaking as well. After bringing this to the salesman Elliot's attention, he would not come down to a reasonable price for all the issues this vehicle has. We were extremely disappointed and unhappy with this dealership with their non-disclosure and lack of transparency about this vehicle's issues. We made the trip for nothing. Had he been more transparent of all the issues, we would have not made the trip in the first place. Not happy potential buyers. Buyer Beware!!!!!
