The salesperson who helped me in my purchase was helpful in finding a car at another dealership and was prompt in communicating. However, the Subaru website misled me to believe that the car I was buying came with remote start option via Starlink app. I confirmed that my car would have remote start with the salesperson. On the day of purchasing my car, I was told it does not have remote start. I was then told that they would install it for me via a key fob “at cost.” However the price I was quoted was $80 higher than what I could purchase it for from the website and the total price to install it was almost double what other local businesses would charge. I was fine paying something for the installation of remote start but charging me more money than what the part actually costs is certainly not “at cost.” I’m very hesitant to bring my car to the dealership for any service work because I feel that I will be overcharged and my trust has been broken. Everything else with my car is as I expected and I’m overall happy with the car itself.

As an out of state buyer (Montana), I am absolutely pleased with everone at Morehart Murphy Subaru. After calling to negotiate a price on one of their last remaining 2024 Foresters, they held this vehicle for 2 weeks so I could fly down and pick it up before the APR promo expired on labor day. They didn't ask me to sign anything prior to arrival and stood 100% behind the agreed upon price by phone. I am so happy I didn't have to fly back home and instead drove my brand new Forester Sport. Thanks to Patrick and the whole team, highly recommend MM Subaru.

PS, after my 1000 mile journey home, the Forester actually exceeded every expectation I had, impressive quality and technology for the price!

I gave a 5 star review 2 years ago and just deleted. I bought my Baja from morehardt in 2005 and have gone there all this time. Was told after my last service that they will no longer provide service for my car because it is too old. Flabbergasted.

Why would anyone drive 3.5hrs to buy a car when there are 3 dealerships 40 minutes or less away Customer Service & a great price.
Dean Schmidt the Internet Manager did a great job of getting us all the information we needed to find the car we wanted. He was able to find the exact car the wife wanted before it was even delivered to store.
Subaru “Hank” (Never got his last name) closed the deal for us. Had the car checked out & detailed before we arrived. Gave the wife plenty of his time helping her understand the ins & outs of the new car. He made the hand off very smooth. We were very happy with Hanks customer service skills. I drove more than 400 miles round trip to purchase from Morehart Murphy because of the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

It started with Dean, the internet sales manager. He was far more helpful than some folks at another Subaru dealer in New Mexico had been, and he since I was having trouble finding the vehicle I wanted, he was the first to suggest ordering one.

I worked with Herman to put together the Forester that I wanted, and he placed the order quickly. He was awesome throughout the process, and the vehicle arrived much sooner than we'd anticipated.

When I went to Morehart Murphy to pick up my Forester, the friendliness and awesomeness of the staff continued, and Jim Morehart even came out to introduce himself to my wife and me.

Herman made sure everything was set and the process was fast and easy. Nickie made the paperwork process super easy.

I can't say enough good things about this dealership and the people there. I’ll be back, and I’d encourage anyone to buy from here.

I brought my new Subaru in because the dash lights and flat screen went dark twice while driving at night. Huge safety issue! Jeff was my service technician who could not find the root of the issue but did a computer health check and when he turned the car over to me was able to witness the lights going dark on their own. He said he would have Dustin call me to go over all of the lighting feature settings to see if that would alleviate the issue. However, one week later, I have not heard from Dustin. My biggest disappointment is in the management. Manager Aaron called me after I dropped the car off the day after Jeff looked at it. Aaron rudely demanded that I come and pick my car back up without giving it any attention. He was not simply devoid of any empathy for the safety issue I had experienced, but I actually felt as if he was challenging my veracity in reporting the issue. Or, they are trying to avoid dealing with the issue until the warranty runs out?
