If you are mature enough you will truly understand the meaning of the place. Regardless of one's belief, if you allow the tranquil scenery ,the path plus the labyrinth embrace you......you will find your reset button here. If you are coming with an agenda it won't work.Come with a mindset that no rush will spoil the experience and you can go about your day with a different perpective

Self guided tour. Lots of drawings on the rocks. Some graffiti here and there which made it not so exciting. No security so thats what happens. I walked to the closest rock cliffs from that point thinking there might be more glyphs but there wasnt. Was easy to walk around and take pics.

Not too far from interstate. Nice place to stretch your legs and loved the petroglyphs and way of the cross!

The petroglyphs are close to the parking lot, and the trail (we took the Picture Rocks Wash trail to the Ringtail Trail, about 2.7 miles) isn’t difficult with gorgeous views.
We parked at the Redemptorist Renewal Center and after our walk explored the Stations of the Cross and walked the labyrinth.
Saw/heard a number of new birds for us like the Abert’s Towee and the Verdin.

FREE landmark, pretty cool! This place seems like you're entering private property, but just keep going past the retreat center and past the church on the hill. You will see signs for the petroglyphs and labyrinth. You can walk right up to the petroglyphs for easy viewing.

It was quite this day, so no one else was there, plenty of parking. There was also a clean bathroom at the church.

Beautiful and peace filled. Located at the back of the Redempotrist Retreat Center, beautiful pictographs are adjacent to Christian walking trails under the blue Tucson sky and blooming cactus.

Agree with the other reviews that this is difficult to find. I'm sure the church does it on purpose so you find Jesus before you find these petroglyphs. But it's really worth the 2 minute walk from the pulloff on the highway. It's at the end of the path on the left. If you make a hard left turn to go up the paved walkway, you've gone too far. You will see a cross on the other side of the petrogly mountain in this case. It's definitely creepy, especially with the "way of the cross" and "labyrinth" church displays, but you don't have to see them, the petroglyphs are a really quick and easy walk from the parking lot if you just stop at the end of that path when it opens up to the petroglyph rock hill.
