I rarely truly have a 5-star experience with a shop like this, but Precision Automotive really delivered. We were just doing basic maintenance with an oil change and tire rotation. But, due to past negative experiences, I've become quite particular. And, you know what? The people at Precision were courteous, understanding, and completely respectful of my requests. Further, the performed the jobs quickly, and they didn't seem to cut corners in ways that I've noticed in the past (zip ties holding my skid plate on, dirt all over my seat, forgetting to reset my TPMS after a rotation, failing to air my tires up to the specified PSI, etc. etc.).

The tech at Precision did everything I asked, and he even politely answered my questions afterwards.

While I prefer to do maintenance myself as much as possible, I would definitely trust my truck in the hands of Precision Automotive for these jobs again!

Lastly, I didn't find the cost to be totally outrageous. My oil change requires 6.2 quarts of full synthetic oil, and the total for the oil change and tire rotation was $155.

The folks at Precision provided us with unbelievable courtesy and customer service. Jennifer in particular. Our vehicle stranded us near Gunnison. They worked us in as quickly as possible, diagnosed the issue and got us going again as soon as the parts arrived. Even having the foresight to order an extra starter. Which turned out to be necessary. All in addition to providing us a loaner vehicle and even assisting us in finding accommodations. Rarely do you find service that approaches this level. We are extremely grateful customers!

Can’t say enough about this place. We were on a road trip, drove over a small mountain pass and car started shuddering/vibrating, whole front end shaking. Got a motel, took car to Precision, they were 3 weeks out for appointments, yikes! Jennifer at front desk was wonderful! Asked pertinent questions, determined probably warped brake rotors. She even helped move heavily packed car items to locate wheel lock lug, hiding below it all. Left car, expecting having to stay many more days in motel in Gunnison. Within 2 hours we knew what was wrong and were given choices on how to proceed. New brakes installed that afternoon and we continued on our camping road adventure! Great communication and service; couldn’t believe how it all worked out. Thank you Precision!!!!!!

Terrible service! Would not recommend this place to save a life! Steve took our truck a few days ago to eye ball what he thinks is wrong then he said it was 4,000 to fix it but then wanted to charge 200 to diagnose the truck after eye balling it. Which was all fine but then we stated to him that we wouldnt have all that money and he said ok just give them 50 dollars because the guy had to look at the truck to tell us this. Paid the 50 dollars and we went to a shop down the road and they told us 2000 to fix everything. While driving away steve said hes going to call the cops on us because our brakes are not safe to be on the road. What kind of service is that? This guy sound like he was trying to keep my truck and charge me an arm and leg and then wants to call the cops because we are leaving. Makes no sense. Terrible people and terrible place! DONT GO THERE!!!!!!!! Real nasty people
