My husband and I were put into contact with Bill Katakis at Prime Lending by our real estate agent, when we started on our home search. Our new home purchase was dependent on the sale of our existing home. Throughout the entire process of underwriting and loan approval, Bill went way above and beyond to make sure (1) we understood in full detail all the mechanics of the financing and (2) that our risk was mitigated to the highest extent possible. Bill thought of every single possible exposure point and planned around it so that we were not over-leveraged in any way. He stayed in constant contact with our real estate agent to make sure he had real time information on the sale of our existing home. On closing day, because Bill had accounted for all the possible costs and walked us through all of the logistics, we had no surprises; our loan closing was a breeze.

Bill is motivated to serve his clients and ensure their financial interests are protected. He will not try to sell a riskier loan product or lend more to you than what you can afford. Buying a home is the largest purchase that one can ever make, and in that sense, the most stressful. We were at ease the whole time knowing that Bill and his team had prioritized our best interests.
