Bob is the best lender in the game. I was a first-time homebuyer purchasing in south Florida which seems to be one of the toughest markets in the country to buy especially for a for time buyer. To be completely honest, I don’t even fully remember how we first got in touch. I know that over the last 2-3 years I have spoken to so many mortgage lenders and they all came and went. Bob was the only one that consistently stayed in touch, never pressured me on having to buy immediately and genuinely cared about and understood how important this was to me. Fast forward two years, new job, a soon to be wife, dogs and kids on the horizon, I happened to find my dream starter home. It was a bit over my planned budget as the home is highly desirable and located in a very happening area in downtown west palm beach. Bob could not have made the process easier. Keeping me calm and guiding me the entire time with his years of expertise. He made the normally dredging process of obtaining a mortgage legitimately fun and exciting and taught me a lot during the process as well. I just wanted to let everyone know how pleased I am with the work that Movement Mortgage did for me. We closed less than 30 days from the day I put an offer in. I got multiple phone calls a week just to ensure I had no questions, that I was freaking out, and to make sure things were going as stress-free as possible (if you can believe that) .

When turning in paper work I never waited more than 20 minutes for a response, if I had a question or concern they were addressed promptly. The day I closed I got two phone calls making sure Ali knew what was going on, mid- this is real- panic my loan officer called and put me at ease.

Avoid using this group. Their rates are not competitive with Costco mortgage rates. Go on line you we see. They made it sound like they would be willing to match the rate but after it was to late to change companies they said they would not. They also were not consistent in what they needed. I was told different things from different people and they were rude to my wife telling her that what she had send in for verification was “unexceptable”. They were late sending info so we could close on time. They blamed an insurance agent that they did not follow up with. It was a very bumpy and unprofessional process. In the end they gave me token gift cards to try to smooth it over. Don’t let the charm of the early process with Movement Mortgage trap you as I was.
