For nearly a year I was attempting to purchase a manufacture home in a senior park. My Credit Union could not make a loan for this type of property and referred me to Sonoma FCU. from the time of my application all the way thru my ultimate purchase and closing this month, the staff at Sonoma FCU has been, responsive, courteous, and helpful through my months of calls for assistance for several prequalification letters quickly, explaining the loan programs available, and setting up my accounts as needed to transfer funds as needed from my bank each month as needed to maintain my payments. I couldn't be more pleased. They even have me on follow-up when rates drop so I can refi my loan to lower my payments. Very well done.

I applied - I called in- they mentioned a under writer would reach out- 1 day later I was denied for info they could’ve asked me for but didn’t even call me back after I left messages with the secretary- highly don’t recommend- I went elsewhere and I was approved with 5% down - thanks for doing a hard Inquiry on my credit

By far, the best financial institution we’ve ever done business with. Dave and the entire staff treated us with kindness and respect while our other San Francisco based credit union in which I’ve been a member for over 20 years turned us away when we needed help.

As blue collar workers and native San Franciscans, my wife and I were used to being disrespected and shunned in a very changed San Francisco. I had overextended my credit trying to pay ridiculously high rent in San Francisco and maintain our mobile home in Sonoma (which Sonoma Fed financed a loan for us to purchase when no one else would). I was afraid to ask for help due to our bad experiences with our other credit union. But Dave and Sonoma Federal helped us. He understood our dilemma and didn’t judge us. Now our stress is gone and our faith in people is restored. We trust Sonoma Federal Credit Union and look forward to enjoying our lives with our grandchildren in Sonoma.
