I am only given this a star because I have too in order to write a review. I received a car from this company back in may, a day later I had a check engine light pop on along with some noises coming from the wheel bearing. I contacted them to inform them and I was told I had to drop my car off at 9am and they will get to it whenever they could. Because I needed a vehicle and they did not offer a loaner, I went and took it to auto store to get exact codes. I then contacted them back and advised of what it was exactly and I was told it’s a sensor and as long as it does not stall or hesitate when accelerating it should be fine, as the check engine light only came on when driving over 50miles and turned off once car restarted. Maybe a month later the check engine light popped on and stayed on. I contacted them and was advised I would have to pay 89.99 in order for them to diagnose the problem, and then I had to pay for parts and labor for whatever it was if it was not covered under warranty. Before doing so I went to auto store and put on machine to get codes again, I advised big lots of specific codes and problems and paid the money for them to fix. They had my car for a few days and then contacted me and advised the problem was not covered under warranty when the codes I provided was according to the paperwork I signed. I asked if I could just come and get my car I was informed it was already taken apart, but When confronting the mechanic he told me that the warranty company (which is them) will cover it under warranty this one time. My car stayed for a few more days, and when I got it back nothing was fixed. Check engine light came on a few hours after picking up the vehicle. I contacted them the next day and was advised I would have to pay the 89.99 again! Even though it was the same issue. So I instead went to a car shop and had them take a look, and fix the problem. I was told my car had no oil, no anti freeze and the car had not been serviced in months, I needed spark plugs, etc. With making the repairs slowly I began to fall behind on payments, in which they did not work with me because per them I should of bought it back to there shady mechanic shop. most recently 01/13/25 I was robbed with a weapon and ran over with said vehicle, and have a few fracture and broken bone which makes it impossible to work. My car was located and was damaged and I was told I had to come and pick it up, once I got down to city impound I was told they had to come and get it. Detectives got fees waived at the impound due to the circumstances but big lots is still charging me the impound fee 120 and pick up fee of 199. Now 01/23 I receive a letter that I am being told that they will be selling my vehicle 2/03/25 if I do not pick it up. I contacted them and was told I have to pay a total of 1400 dollars in order to get my vehicle back before that date which is in 4days. They did not allow me anytime to recover the vehicle, and they are making me pay for something that is not my fault after such events. They have no empathy, they are money hungry and don’t care about anyones circumstances, or any criminal investigation going on. They will not work with me at all, and I would not recommend anyone get a vehicle from here. I have receipts, documents, recordings, etc of the way they have treated me pertaining to my vehicle over the past 8 months and it is outrageous, It is unprofessional, I was lied too regarding the car fax as they do not even use car fax to get there reports, when I got my car fax it has multiple wrecks and owners while I was told the car had never been damaged! Long story short, RUN!! Do not get a vehicle from here, everyone down to the salesmen are all in cahoots and they will try anything they can to get money out of you.

Huge shout out to Bryant at Big Lots!! He made my process quick and easy...literally! I appreciate the care he provided and the personable aspect of making sure the car I chose fit my everyday needs ans life! I ended up with exactly what I wanted with a less amount for payments than expected! Recently my oldest daughter went there and had the same service! So thank you Bryant for being truly amazing effortlessly and taking care of not just me but my fam! We appreciate u!
