I recently visited Varenita to visit my mother and went had an excellent lunch in the dining room! We had the pleasure of being served by a young women named Chase. I can't say enough good things about her! From the moment we arrived, she greeted us with a warm smile and infectious enthusiasm.
Chase was attentive, genuinely caring, and went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt comfortable and happy. She took the time to chat with the residents, making them feel special and valued, and her positive energy brightened the entire room. If you're looking for exceptional service, Chase is truly a gem!

Varenita of Westlake is a home with a uniquely educated and authentic staff who exhibit integrity and kindness. Their Philosophy of wellness and the "benefits of memory care" don't stop when loved ones are out of your site. You can see the proof that the staff are supported by the owners, which allows staff to do and be their best. We are so blessed to have my father who has progressive dementia living in memory care. My dad lived in his past home for 45 years, with his wife (Both educated professionals Ph.D/MA) and when he (widowed) walked into Varenita and was shown the single available room, he said, "when do I get a key?" He loves it there and feels among peers at Varenita. Thank you to the Founding Family who envisioned Varenita and brought this community to life!

The facility is nice however misleading the residents there are mainly meant for memory care as they have neuro deficits but are incorrectly placed in assisted living. Also, the staff working there are very unprofessional I could hear a lot of gossiping drama and problems with Mimi in the hallways and seems like the workplace itself doesn’t have a strong foundation of work ethic, morals or peace of mind. I wouldn’t put my loved one here for these reasons. It’s not assisted living it’s a memory care facility. It seems like they need more employees too in med tech as the employee seemed to be occupied with pre popping meds

I’m a visiting nurse and I was there to visit a Resident in the care at Varenita. It is a beautiful place. The residents looked like they were enjoying their game-activity. They had displayed some very nice Easter artwork done by the residents. It was very nice to see things on display. The employees all were very nice. and helpful.

I would give all 5 stars, but this was my first time coming to do work here, and I was very impressed by the MedTech, Dan and his keeping up with the schedule set for medication(s). He was very caring, and attentive to the situation. I was very impressed by him.

My Mom absolutely loves living here. Although quite resistant to the idea initially, she adjusted quickly and now could not be happier. The facility is beautiful, the staff could not be any nicer, it’s like living at the Four Seasons.

Our Mother has been at Westlake Veranita for 5 months now. I can’t say enough about all the staff!!! Wonderful!!! The facility is small, not much activity but GORGEOUS! The reason for four stars is the food prep situation for meals. Constantly running out of basics like baked Potatoe, avocado etc. depending upon when arriving for a meal. Also absolutely no regard for dietary restrictions so my Mom provides her food to the kitchen. For the cost of this place and the classy environment I find this unacceptable. Other then that the place is wonderful!!

Varenita Westlake should be on the shortlist of anyone considering memory care or assisted living. My wife resides there, and the highest recommendation I can give, is that if I ever needed this type of support and care, Varenita is where I want to be.
