Honestamente lo que más molesta de vivir aquí es el pésimo servicio de atención a los inquilinos en la administración, hoy hemos tenido mucho problema con el area de lavado, de 5 lavadoras 1 estaba ocupada (única que funciona bien),1 tenía letrero de “fuera de servicio” y otras 3 disponibles todas nos dañaron la ropa, cuando no sale rota o rasgada sale manchada, decolorada o más sucia lo cual es frustrante hemos reportado ésto en diversas ocasiones, sin embargo nos acaba de suceder nuevamente y es realmente molesto que tu ropa salga en un 80% dañada, anteriormente tomaron el reporte pero no hicieron mucho pues continúa el problema (han sido meses con éste problema) y aunque acudimos a la oficina parece no importarles ni ser de su interés, ya que aún con la evidencia dicho por la Sra Griselda de Administración comenta que están enterados de la situación pero que ella no puede hacer nada al respecto (entonces quien debería ser el responsable del área de lavado del complejo de departamentos?) y que hagamos lo que queramos, si queremos hablar a la ciudad para reportar, demandar o lo que sea que lo hagamos, que la ciudad ya está enterada de la situación por otros inquilinos, pero por si fuera poco lo dijo de manera cínica, burlona y sarcástica (sonriendo) y cuando me atreví a reclamar por comportamiento infantil, ridículo e inmadura, lo único que me dijo es que me saliera de la oficina porque no quería hablar conmigo, es lamentable que sus superiores no se den cuenta de la clase de trato al inquilino quien es su cliente pues está en un puesto donde se supone debe tener la capacidad de resolver problemas simples como éste pero prefiere evitar asumir su responsabilidad y un conflicto mayor con su actitud irrespetuosa e inaceptable, por ello piensen más de dos veces rentar aquí pues a largo plazo será un dolor de cabeza lidiar con la administración quien no se hace responsable de nada. Si es necesario investiguen con otros inquilinos sus comentarios antes de mudarse.

The new office staff are polite and helpful, their follow-up to fix any problems that arise is continuous and encouraging, the technicians also follow up quickly to fix any service issues that arise, and after that, the resident assistant follows up to make sure about tenant satisfaction.

I really like this complex apartment but the stuff working in the office is rude, thieves and very dishonest. I was charged almost $800 plus they took away my deposit for carpet replacement. I only lived there for a year and there was only me and my mother, and they said we left stains in the carpet. I told the manager I had a video of the carpet, a video that I took the last day when I moved out, she said she didn't care about the video that I could send it over in an email but that was not going to change anything and that I had to pay anyway. I hate this people, they should get fire

Not the best place I've lived in terms of new & nice, but also not the worst by far. The maintenance staff are all incredibly kind and thorough. The landscape is kept up wonderfully and there is a nice little gym. The apartments are a bit older, but decent (especially considering the price of rent). My only true complaint that is within the property management's control are the laundry facilities. Most of the washers in the main laundry room have been broken or out of service for over a year and the dryers are hit or miss when it comes to actually drying your clothes no matter how small the load is. I know it is a small issue in the grand scheme of things, but it seems like with as many residents as the complex has that it should be within their budget to either finally get them fixed or to at least get new washing machines.

Rent is affordable, the overall property is nice, maintenance staff is nice. That’s it. It doesn’t seem like management or owners care for their tenants. I’ve been here for 3 years and from talking to multiple residents, it just seems to be getting worse. The laundry room is atrocious. The machines haven’t worked in over a year and nothing is being done. It’s honestly really sad to see so many tenants move out and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s from the laundry room.

When they turn apartments over, they don’t do anything about adding padding to the carpet. I can hear everything going on. Typical apartment stuff but it’s bad when you can hear all your neighbors sneezing, snoring, and even roll over in their bed. I’m a heavy sleeper and I can hear all of this in the middle of the night.

I was told their office hours are available from 9am-6pm Monday-Friday and 9am-5pm on Saturdays. Its a 50/50 chance if someone is available Monday-Friday hours. They aren’t open on Saturdays and then they are randomly. The side gate that is supposed to be open during office hours, almost never is anymore.

There’s a lot of inconsistencies that really need to be addressed.

Cockroach infested apartments, cheap appliances, laundry rooms are utter filth - smelly or none working washing machines and dryers. When addressed with office they claimed it’s expensive to exchange machines (rent I’m paying is also expensive, duh). Gym is less than basic. Even with health hazards and terrible amenity conditions, they have the audacity to offer a lease extension with increased rent. You’re not “a valued resident” as they claim, it’s a business model to get tenants in and out quickly and strip them off their deposit.

The people who work for West Park and Tishau are some of the most dishonest, morally corrupt people I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. They are liars to their core and behave like criminal scam artists. Even when you present them with the truth, they will lie to your face. They are currently pulling a scam on tenants stating that they have to pay their rent online (rather than by check). West Park is under rent control because of the year it was built and there is a city of San Jose ordinance which states they cannot force tenants to pay their rent online and that they can pay with check. This fact has been presented to West Park multiple times, but they ignore it. I am currently working with the city of San Jose rent stabilization office on a petition to address this issue and many others. They also started charging cleaning fees back in 2020 for Covid, which was something that they were not within the law to do per the city of San Jose rent ordinance, yet they refuse to stop and they take advantage of people who may not know their rights. I would estimate that they’ve made at least $60,000 in unlawful cleaning fees off of tenants since 2020. I hope if any other tenants read this that they reach out to the city of San Jose rent stabilization office to address issues with West Park. Additional things you can find at West Park are: tons of marijuana, smoke cockroaches everywhere outside after dark, poisonous spider infestations, criminals who wander in due to a lack of security measures, and broken laundry machines.
